Attore originario del Texas. Prima di diventare attore era un direttore di banca nell'Oklahoma. Oltre a prendere parte a CSI: Miami, in tv ha anche recitato anche nelle serie JAG, Profiler, The Pretender, Walker Texas Ranger, Snoops, Nash Bridges, Northern Exposure, Vengeance Unlimited e The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. Al cinema ha recitato con Jackie Chan nel film Rush Hour, in Tin Cup con Kevin Costner e Renè Russo e in Independence Day con Will Smith.
